Guide to collecting prints


Reference numbers for postcards and proofs use a YYPNNN format.

YY: Year printed as 20YY
P: Code for paper type
NNN: Print unit number

Paper types
1: 4×6″ 200 gsm glossy paper
2: 4×6″ 265 gsm glossy paper
3: 4×6″ 260gsm satin paper
4: A6 230gsm/170gsm matt paper
5: A6 380gsm canvas paper



The following guide outlines the point system to be used when collecting my personally made prints. The system is based on paper size, edition, capture date, and signature style, and points will be calculated from an initial score of 0 points.

Open
Blank — +1
Personalised — +2

Artist Proof
Numbers or symbol — +3
AP — +4
XO — +5
Super-special — +6
The value of a compound edition is the sum of all the respective values indicated

Capture date

Undated — +1
Time only — +2
Date only — +3
Date and time — +4
When comparing, an earlier date will produce a relative value of +1

Signature

Standard signature — +1
Inverted hearts (simple) — +2
Expanded hearts (full) — +3
Sketch of eye — +4
Print name — +5

Other details

The presence of an asterisk (*) increases the value by +3
and the presence of other markings (e.g. doodles or symbols) increases the value by +2
